Beth has been involved in the school bus business since 1989 when B and B Transportation, Inc. was formed. Beth's experience in the fields of accounting, business, and human resources has helped B and B Transportation, Inc. grow to a company with 85 employees. In addition to managing a multi-million dollar school bus company, Beth is the Transportation Coordinator for the Woodbridge Public Schools, Amity High School, and Hopkins School.
Brad has been involved in the school bus industry for 26 years. He is currently the Chairman and an Instructor of the State of Connecticut School Bus Master Instructor Program (one of only 9 in the state), he is also the Secretary of COSTA (Connecticut Operators of School Transportation Association). Brad has been a member of COSTA for 20 years and a board member for the past 18 years. Brad's knowledge regarding training and State of Connecticut school bus law are vital to the safe and efficient operation of B and B Transportation, Inc. Brad will occasionally drive a school bus route because he enjoys being a part of the heart of the business.
Carol joined Brad and Beth in the office in October 1995. Beth and Carol had worked together previously and when B and B Transportation, Inc. was in need of a full time bookkeeper, Beth called Carol who happened to be available. Carol began doing many miscellaneous tasks, but the company has grown to where Carol's full time responsibilities are accounting and payroll. Carol's willingness to learn new and improved accounting systems has kept B and B Transportation, Inc. up to date with the most modern accounting systems.
Steve joined the staff of B and B Transportation, Inc. in May of 2005. He brought with him years of mechanical experience. He has brought the B and B Transportation, Inc. fleet of buses from a good level to an excellent level of performance. Steve has established an ongoing program of preventative maintenance and safety service. This program has made an incredible difference in the performance and fuel efficiency of all B and B Transportation, Inc. vehicles. When B and B Transportation, Inc. vehicles were inspected in the summer of 2006, all vehicles passed without incident. DMV inspectors were pleased and commented many times on the quality of the facility and work. Steve has been a great addition to the B and B Transportation, Inc. staff.
Jeri began working at B and B Transportation, Inc. in the summer of 2006. Prior to coming to B and B Transportation, Inc., Jeri worked for the largest school bus company in the country for 25 years. Jeri began as a school bus driver and most recently was a Training Center Manager. Brad and Beth asked Jeri to join their staff to oversee all aspects of driver training and school bus safety. Jeri is a State of Connecticut School Bus Master Instructor (one of only 9 in the state). The B and B Transportation, Inc. staff is very excited about this newly created position and anticipates that Jeri will bring the company's safety and training department to one of the top in the state.
